Tele Saturday, the best. Video in AM – everyone formed a goal to focus on during the day. Eliminate ‘leaning’, reduce the wedge christie/more parallel, rounder turns, embrace the fall line. Some bumps, Tbar, Imperial chair. Lots of sun

– tele days are over the top fun.

Level 7 – technique focus. Simultaneous edge release, leg steering, pressuring both skis throughout the turn, managing edge angle (sometimes a lot, sometimes a little), pivot turns, upper/lower body alignment, zipper drill/focus. Self teaching: pick a body part, a phase of the turn, a ski performance. Sunny and warm, T-bar, Imperial chair. Thanks to all – lots of fun.

Irina, an afternoon to remember, thank you for the hot chocolate. Calm winds, some sun, cowboy turns, inside ski turns, lifting downhill ski, commitment to the turn, long leg/short leg, letting the inside ski be the ‘thinker’, white rear entry boots/skinny skis and tight pants – a memorable time with some laughs – you Aussies do have a sense of humor.

The doctor dudes! Bumps and more bumps – Inferno, Devils Crotch, Mine Shaft, High Anxiety, Dukes, Lower Boneyard and some other run I’ve never know the name off chair six. Break it down to workable pieces: phase of turn, body performance, ski performance. This was so much fun – bump on my friends.

Nancy & Alexis: clean release of both skis, explore leg steering and ski twisting, inside ski active (the brain), hop and lift downhill ski drills, 360s, skating, switch (going backwards), zipper down the fall line, hands/shoulders/hips, trees, some powder, crapes and oatmeal – we seized the day!

21 total telers today, this is good. Heavy snow, not champagne but a good Budwiser. Upper/lower body separation, both tips to the fall line at release, late lead change, solid inside foot pressure/sink on ‘that tele foot’, Technique in the AM lots of bumps and powder in the PM. ‘Good Job’ to all.
