Frank, Leann, Andrew, Arianna, Alexandria – much work on technique today, a bit of a lot of stuff. Poles, airplane turns, hip stabel turns, one ski, Nastar, wider radius, pivot slips, inside ski release, pole pivots, less edgie, Cribbage Lite, ankle/knee flexion to free the leg steering, pizza, chicken alfredo, Dr. Pepper/Pepsi mix, loose arms, cell phones and slush (lots of it). Andrew, sleep well tonight because tomorrow is BUMP day!

Jo and Tom – most of the day up high, Whalestail, Peak 7 bowl, Pica, White Crown, Brill’s Thrill, Lulu – some good stuff and some stuff good for you. Steep hard bumps on Y Chutes, soft ones on Crescendo. Timing with flexion/extension, pole touch, ankle/knee flexion and how it affects leg rotation and ski turn shaping, bump tactics, turn initiation, 360s, uphill arcs and world philosophy at lunch with a bit of ‘how the brain works’ … or with skiers how maybe at times it doesn’t work. Great day hiking and exploring!

David, Karen, Torrie – good morning: progress with standing taller, releasing and steering the inside ski, faster, less thinking, less edge. And Torrie – you are a rocket, a verbal rocket! Very good skiing, you could go in a level 8 kids group for sure – take care of your parents, you might need them someday. Happy summer!
