What a great last day! Donna, Joelle, Barbara, Becky, Ellen – enjoying the warm sun and spring snow. Glass of wine, tales of winter, plans for next, goodbyes for the summer. Cheers!

Emile, Mike, Mike, Bob, Penny, Lesley – the British invasion. High level skiing – high level humor. Wake up the inside of the body, discipline of the core, speed control with gravity, Mother Earth is a grand place and keeping both skis on it is a grand technique, and last but far from least … bumps, 1/2 of bump sking is skill and tactics while the other 1/2 is just getting in there and doing it. Great day, much fun meeting all and sharing a bit of life.

Alice, Andy, Morgan, Alec, Ben – from all over the country. Bumps was our mission, bumps was our game. Little ones, big ones, ones that made no sense at all. Some technique, some tactics, some just jump in and do it. It’s a life long process guys, keep the faith, changes come slow, shedding old habits even slower. A grand day, thank you!

Kindra – morning lesson, more comfort on black slopes. Stabilize the core and hands, explore this leg steering stuff, come off the edge some and slow the transition across the fall line, shape the turns with skidding, hockey stops. Enjoy the summer in Wichita … hope life brings you and family to Colorado in several years … your spunk and desire to learn will take you to all the black slopes!

Gordon, Julia, Theo, Henry – great afternoon, boy did we cook Theo, he was in the ozone by about 3:00pm. Matching and skidding for the kids, wider stance and inside ski pressure for dad, hand discipline for mom. Fun seeing he changes … enjoyed the last 10 minutes of the day soaking up the sun and talking for a few minutes … Julia, I owe you two now, paybacks are great.

Michael – balance poles on wrists, poles on hips, hips countered to the turn …. NOW, complete the turn for shorter radius. Groomed blacks, no bumps ….but, bumps are in the future. Great meeting your family, thank you.
