Morning:

Fay, Brook, Chelsey – level 1 at 9:00AM, level 4 at 12:00AM – amazing. Minnesota, Colorado and Wyoming. Parallel turns down green terrain, tipping to release then steering to shape – by lesson’s end working on more knee flexion, less edge angle for earier steering, keeping both skis on the snow and simultaneous leg steering. What a successful morning – well done.

Afternoon:

Louis (Miami) and Hector (Daytona), level 2. Calm the nerves, stabilize the wedge, begin direction changes, flatten the skis with less hard edge, matching in the traverse, patience to let the skis work, speed control with direction of travel and less reliance on wedge and edge push, enjoy the ride, think cold beer, relax. Good progress in only 2 hours, actually great progress in 2 hours, skied down to the bottom of Rips Ride by 3:30PM. Don’t get to crazy with the party guys … no, actually, it’s vacation, let it rip. See you next year.
