Andrew, Joanna, Rachel – the British are a hearty lot, never say enough. Put in some miles today: all the front bowls in Horseshoe, Inferno, Devils Crotch, Mind Shaft, Needles Eye, Peerless, Crescendo – few thousand turns working on ‘stuff’. Focus: not so deep ‘drop’ at turn completion to pressure the skis, highest pressure point at apex, set up for the next turn by releasing earlier in the turn, more shape to control speed, lots of pivots and slide, slips on uphill ski only, shuffle turns, javelin turns, video and developing an ‘issue’ to work on. A most memorable two days of exploring the mountain and our capabilities of playing with the snow. That’s what it is guys, the skis are just tools to play with the mountain …. be kind to it … it will return the favor. Thank you for letting me into your family just a bit!
