Judy, Don, Sally, Debbs, Joelle, Pam, Amy, Paola, Nancy – another powder day like not in four years. Some tears, some rejoice – lots of laughs. Skiing powder is 1/2 technique and 1/2 just getting in there and doing it.

Judy, Pam, Debbs, Becky, Sally, Jenn, Donna, Joelle: BABES. Nothing but powder today, 20 inches at 8:30am and snowed all day. Skis closer, more even pressure on both skis, stay centered, tip before rotating, more direct line – shopping is the kiss of death in powder. Lots of progress – good day ladies.

Nichole, Bob, Wayne, Natiasha, Amy, Lisa, Ellen, Marilyn – crazy fun day, lots of challenges with bumps and steeps, a few exercises: keep a rhythm from turn to turn, early to the new edges, balance on the middle of the new outside ski on it’s inside edge, hips countered and tipped. These are two cool picutres!

John from L.A., Tenessee and all over. Leap of learning – making parallel turns on Springmier – good job, a day to remember. No picture tonight, operator error. Safe journey home, see you and family in March.

Shannon, Kath, Greg – some from Boulder, some from Tennessee. Skied all five mountains plus Tbar. Warm, blue ski, no wind. Mild focus on hip alignment, ‘position of strength’, arm position and pole plant. Quick study this group, good success. Thank you for teaching me about dreadlocks, I’m probably too for ‘um but they look good on the two of you. Cheers.
