Latuda family (minus the Chief Executive) – great day, warm, little wind down low (different story up high). Alexandria working on less edge, shorter radius turns, getting comfortable with a more skidded shaped turn – big plans, Black Diamond on Firday – could become a national holiday. Areana and Andrew exploring irregular bumps, using less of the slope to turn, syncro skiing. Sleep well, Wednesday is just aroung the corner (that and your mother will show up so everybody must shape up).

Jose, Ale, Edgar, Lulu – now level 3!. Warm and snowy today, cold in the PM. Good progression from L2 to L3 with some matching at lower portion of turns, Rips Ride (both sides), pole balance. What progress in two days – from ‘never ever’ to being able to ski just about all green runs. Well done!

Jose, Ale, Edgar, Lulu – south of the border has come to Breckenridge. An unpleasant experience in the rental shop, not so great in the children’s center – but once on the skis things started to shape up. How you keep up with all the children is beyond me. See you in the morning and this journey will continue.

Amy – New York. Level 1 to Level 4 in three hours – good job. Thank you for all the education on credit cards – I hope you learned as much about skiing. What an enjoyable morning.

Rodolfo, Shirley, David, Eric, Enrico – Texas. Late start, hung up in the rental shop, gliding wedge in the morning, wedge tuns in the afternoon. David, Eric and Enrico lapping Rip’s Ride, ready for chair #5. Last day of vacation – good start on next year.

Mary – Colorado and Ohio, level 7, sunny and warm, no wind. Pole balance, inside leg steering, mogul pivots, side slips, shuffle turns, early edge engagement of inside ski, arm position, turn competition, Peak 6, a few moguls, Peaks 9 & 10, groomed blacks. Good changes Mary … your homework: side slips, virtual poles and shuffle turns. See you next year, have a great summer!

Emile – Texas. Late start but great recovery, Gliding wedge turns on Poma by noon. Hope your boyfriend and father didn’t push you beyond limits this afternoon. See you next year. Cheers.
