Meow, Nick, Linda, Don, Ernie, Catharine. Three pressure points in the boot (or on the foot how every you look at it), balanced and edge grip … Rustler (good to finally get up high), Upper 4 O’clock, Bone Yard, Peerless Trees, Dukes Bumps, High A. Wind once again relentless until about 2:30PM. A good ski day with progress, well done!

Ernie, Elaine, Bob, Paul, Eileen, Terry, Terry. Whale’s Tale was the event of the day – never seen such a sea of wind blown scallops, the upper mountain is a mess right now. Lots of bumps and follow the leader, skidding, sliding, shaping, carving, grip, early edge change, let the ski do the work, taking out the ‘turning’ at initiation. Fun day!

Mitzi, Olive, Rebecca, Chongee, Paula … upper mountain closed due to wind (all the upper mountain), not too cold, late lunch which worked out quite well at Pioneer Crossing. Power steering with tipping from the ankle (increased edge angle, holds edge angle against ‘edge angle wash out’), arms up and hands wider than the elbows, don’t overdo the pole swing by letting the basket go too far forward, solid counter and pole plant in the bumps with EDGE GRIP.
