Meow, Brenda, Don, Catharine – Saturday Club plus one makeup … what a nice day (expect maybe for the wind howler at top of Imperial about 2:45PM) … about 10 inches of new to start the day, this stuff lighter than last couple of days. Three laps on the Meadow, two on Imperial Bowl, two on Rustler … focus: using both skis in the powder!! Cleaner initiation without the ‘pop and step around’, more equal pressure, pressuring both skis from top of arc, keeping hands forward, steeper and lower, CM and feet separation (this has got to happen at transition, if the CM goes up instead of ‘in’ the new outside ski will twist and ‘hello backseat’, feel the new edges and ski pressure then start to guide with steering, rotate the skis to soon or aggressive then it’s more of a pivot and J turn results with too much speed and an impressive shopping spree across the slope. Great progress the in afternoon, skiing fall line turns in chopped up snow on the steeps … think everyone will sleep good tonight!
