Karen, Zac, Jonathan – the New Jersey gang! Powder, off piste, black runs, bumps, trees (that was especially fun, huh Karen), race course. Keep both skis on the snow, core alignment with empasis on hands, shape and steer both skis simultaneously. And …. Hershey kisses to keep us going.

Nancy, Greg, Bill – heavy dose of alignment and balance. Playing with that on groomed, some powder, some bumps. This was a good day in my opinion – no burning desire to go high and make a bunch of turns that might not be classified as the best – stay low and slow – feel the changes, work on a particular aspect, look stupid and get out of the comfort zone. Got to feel a ‘weirdness’ or it will just be the same old thing. Best run: last one down Crescendo – there
was some good looking stuff on those turns.

Babes day – video day – powder day – then chopped up snow day – then chopped up snow with slick spots day. Morning focus ‘slow it all down’, don’t let the powder lure you into rushing the turn. Lunch time video – everyone self analyze, look at the overall picture, then get a single focus for the afternoon. Food for thought: take the good turns as little victories – dump the bad ones from the memory as they do no good lurking around in the mind. My highlight: watching the seven of you ski down just below the Mercury chair … that was good!

Superbowl day – Andrew…. I hope you go down on this one …. but it’s a tall wish. What a great day – bumps, bumps, bumps and follow that with trees, trees, tress. Compress the arch – look for the bump sidewall. You guys are changing – I see it more than you see it in yourselves. The metamorphism of two skiers!
February 4, 2012 – Afternoon
Now these are some cool pictures. Level 1 afternoon class – not a lot of time to get the turns going left and right. Josh, Kyle, Jeffrey, Par, Sonia, Suj – amazing success in 2 &1/2 hours – skiing down to the bottom from the Poma. Sorry about the ticket issue Josh, glad Product Sales stepped up and made things ‘right’. Happy turns gang – stay safe and have fun!
