PL: You are doing bumps … and you did a black bump run (Rounders). Initiating throught ‘the door’, twisting both legs, ski pressure high in the turn, torso down the mountain – so cool – good job. Thank you for two gran days. Sue is waiting for you in December. Have a great summer – take care.

Level 1 at 1:30pm – levels 2 & 3 by 3:30pm. How can the gliding wedge be so difficult? A better question yet: how can the gliding wedge be so easy? “If you can glide ‘um, you can turn ‘um”. Pleasure meeting all of you – took a little time to find the humor in each of you – but as these pictures reveal, found it!

Definitely in the few top powder, teaching, making friends, ski ’till we drop days. High A, White Crown, Toilet Bowl, Cucumber Gulch, Independence Bowl, hike to the summit, Snow White, #5 Windows, hike to Twin Chutes, #4 Windows, Crescendo bumps, a little Blackberry business, a few rest stops. Seized the day in a gran way. Thank you, hope as much fun for you as for me!

Level 4. The infamous level 4 that transitions between wedge  and parallel turns. A challenging level for sure. Well done ladies, more matching now with turn shaping and far less ‘bracing on the downhill edge’. Wendy, thx for sticking with us this afternoon – proud of you for that. Carol, you are living proof a Panamanian can make parallel turns, nice!

5-6 inches of new … new and challenging. Some great and some … uhh, memorable turns. Boundry Chutes, White Crown, Pica and Springmeier. I often see more progress in your technique than you might see in yourself – things are changing in a most positive directions. Trying to get a Sunday 7 together for next week – maybe the camera operator will be more responsibe.
